Ashburnham Golf Course is located in Burry Port, a short drive from Llanelli and is the most prestigious golf course in Carmarthenshire.
It is one of the finest Championship Links courses in Britain and continues to be classed as one of the top 10 golf courses in Wales. Currently ranked as the 3rd best course in Wales, Ashburnham has hosted prestigious professional and amateur Championships, including two British PGA Championships and the 1976 Martini International Tournament.
Chosen as a qualifying venue for the 2014 Seniors Open Championship, this event is one in a long line of important events held here since the early 1900s when Harry Vardon, the six time British Open Champion said “The course I like best in Wales is Ashburnham.”
