Carya Golf Club Belek

Carya Golf Club Belek

Carya Golf Club is the first heathland-style course developed in Turkey and has hosted the Turkish Open Championship. Designed by Thomson Perrett & Lobb who took inspiration from the old heathland courses in England such as Sunningdale and Wentworth. A par 72 6,500 meters (approx. 7,200 yards) from the back tees, this is a demanding test of golf. The fairways run between pine and eucalyptus trees and across a dramatic sand ridge.

For something different the course has floodlighting on all 18 holes. For those who haven’t tried it, night golf can be real fun. The problems of not finishing a round during the shorter days between September and May are eliminated.
