La Cala Golf Resort

La Cala Golf Resort

La Cala Resort

Founded in 1989, La Cala Resort is set between the beautiful Sierra de Mijas Natural Park and the shimmering Mediterranean Sea, La Cala resort has 4, yes 4 golf courses!!!

Golf course Campo America. With spectacular views of the Sierra de Ojén and the Mediterranean Sea. Campo America’s wide fairways and relatively few bunkers make it a slightly easier driving course, but beware, the hilly layout of the course requires a lot of carry across steep brush-covered side slopes, while the small raised greens make precise club selection a must.

Golf course Campo Asia. The breath-taking Campo Asia has plenty of challenging holes, guaranteeing a testing round of golf which puts a premium on the shot selection. The oldest of the three 18-hole courses, and the one most respected by golfers. It is very technical, with four par 5 holes that require a cool head and strategic planning to get the most out of your round.

Golf course Campo Europa. An amazing course that is considered more forgiving than its sister courses.

Campo Europa has generous fairways, flatter terrain and larger greens. This beautiful course is notable for one main bridge and four smaller bridges across the River Ojén, which features in eight holes, cutting across three fairways. Water hazards guard the 3rd and 14th greens, to add an extra challenge to even the most seasoned golfer.

Golf course 6-hole Par 3.

La Cala Golf Academy is situated beside the six-hole par 3 course and is overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. It has a grass driving range as well as putting, chipping and bunker facilities. Great for golf lessons for beginners or advanced players. The Academy has one of the best short game practice facilities in the Costa del Sol. This 6-hole, par 3 course has been designed to replicate the championship golf courses.

The resort has excellent practice facilities and has indeed hosted Quality Golf Destinations teaching academies.
