Owned by the hotel Palacio there are 27 demanding holes here. Estoril Golf is always in immaculate condition and a treat to play. This famous course has held the Portuguese Men’s & Women’s open over 20 times.

Its history dates to 1929, when Fausto de Figueiredo, holder of the concession rights to Casino Estoril and owner of two hotels in the area, opened the first nine holes of the course. This route designed by the Frenchman Jean Gassiat had the objective of offering a leisure area not only for tourists but also for the foreign community based in the country. Portuguese players who, through a lease with Estoril Plage, SA, created the official foundation of the Club - 1945.

This date coincides with the year in which the second nine holes were opened and adaptation of the rest, a project designed by Scottish architect Mackenzie Ross disciple of one of the most notable Golf Architects - Donald Ross.
